Refund and Returns Policy

1. Overview

At Libaas Co, we take pride in offering quality Islamic wear. Due to the nature of clothing items and hygiene considerations, we apply a strict but fair returns policy.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Returns will only be accepted if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The return request is made within 7 days of receiving the order

  • The item is unused, unworn, and unwashed

  • All original tags and packaging are intact

  • The item is in its original condition, suitable for resale

Any item that shows signs of:

  • Wear

  • Washing

  • Alteration

  • Damage

  • Odours (including perfume, smoke, or body odour)

will NOT be accepted for return or refund.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Items returned after the 7-day period

  • Items that have been worn, used, or washed

  • Items without original tags or packaging

  • Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)

  • Accessories and scarves (for hygiene reasons), unless faulty

4. Beading, Embellishments & Garment Care Disclaimer

Some of our garments feature decorative beadwork, embellishments, embroidery, or hand-finished detailing.

While we take care to ensure quality craftsmanship, Libaas Co is not responsible for any beads, beadwork, embellishments, or decorative elements that may loosen, fall off, or become damaged over time, including as a result of:

  • Normal wear

  • Handling

  • Washing

  • Storage

  • Snagging or friction

Such occurrences are considered normal wear and tear and do not constitute a manufacturing defect.
Items will not be eligible for return, refund, or exchange due to bead or embellishment loss.

We strongly recommend gentle handling and appropriate garment care for all embellished items.

5. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

You may be required to provide:

  • Clear photos of the item

  • A description of the issue

Once approved, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost.

6. Return Process

To request a return, please contact us at info@libaas.co.za with:

  • Your order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if applicable)

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

7. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.

8. Late or Unauthorised Returns

  • Returns requested after the 7-day window will be declined

  • Items returned without authorisation may be rejected or sent back at the customer’s expense

  • Libaas Co reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy

9. Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to stock availability and must meet the same eligibility requirements as returns.

If the requested replacement is unavailable, a refund or store credit may be offered at our discretion.
